	<description>The Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) is providing notice of a change to a proposed regulation establishing a No Significant Risk Level (NSRL) for chlorothalonil. The proposed NSRL published on March 18, 2011, for chlorothalonil has been changed to 41 micrograms per day. 	<title>Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) is Accepting Toxicity Information for Chromium VI</title>
	<description>Hexavalent chromium (CrVI) has been a chemical under consideration for ESL development since 2006.  The Toxicology Division is now in the initial stages of starting the Development Support Document (DSD) process for CrVI and is accepting toxicity information from interested parties who would like to submit relevant data. The TCEQ is aware of the recent California EPA and draft USEPA oral assessments of CrVI and the current ongoing research on the mode of action for CrVI.  While DSDs have historically only developed inhalation toxicity factors, the DSD for CrVI may also include oral toxicity factors. The deadline for submitting information (e.g., relevant studies, data) is November 15, 2011.bmit relevant data.</description>

	<title>CAl/EPA to Consider Two Substances for Listing on Prop 65</title>
	<description>The California Environmental Protection Agency’s Carcinogen Identification Committee (CIC) serves as the State’s qualified experts for determining whether a chemical has been clearly shown through scientifically valid testing according to generally accepted principles to cause cancer. Fluoride and its salts, and tris(1,3-dichloro-2-propyl) phosphate will be considered for possible listing by the CIC at its next meeting scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday, October 12 and 13, 2011. This notice marks the beginning of a 60-day public comment period on these two documents.  OEHHA must receive comments and any supporting documentation by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 6, 2011.</description>
